Nathan Nienhuis

Founder, Owner, CEO

After graduating with a Business Administration Degree from Azusa Pacific University, Nate began his career as an Accountant in the vacation rental industry. In 2021, Nate saw a need in the market and decided to start his own business that would help clients, like yours, with all of their accounting needs. On the weekends, you can find Nate spending time with his family and competing in triathlons.


Jessica Sewell

Head of Operations and Onboarding

Jess has been with Thuro for nearly 2 years and has shown an incredible commitment to the team, working her way up to the Lead of Operations and Onboarding. She has been an integral part of walking alongside Thuro's leadership team as we have grown and scaled over the last 12 months. Jess is also an NFL loving, bookworm mom of two who loves to hike and be outdoors!


Tatum Miller Barnes

Head of People and Culture

Along with many HR tasks, Tatum ensures that all things we do at Thuro align with our core values. In addition to our internal Thuro team, Tatum also checks-in our clients to ensure their ongoing success. In her not-so-often free time, Tatum does nonprofit consulting, surfs, plays beach volleyball, and golfs with her two daughters.


  • Suzanne Schepers

Suzanne Scheppers has been with Thuro for over 5 years, from before Thuro was even Thuro! Suzanne has extensive knowledge of Streamline, is incredibly detail oriented, efficient in her work, and continually learning and growing to keep up with the industry. Suzanne has 6 beautiful children and dreams of living on a dairy farm and raising heifers someday in retirement. Suzanne also loves to be outdoors with her family and is an avid runner.

  • Kathy Connors

Kathy Connors has a strong entrepreneurial and accounting background, acting as Controller for 3 of her own companies, including a Vacation Rental Property Management Company in Mexico. When Nate reached out to Kathy about becoming a client, the two established a connection and Kathy decided to work for Thuro. Kathy’s favorite activities are walking, biking, socializing with friends, and antiquing.

  • Devon Alvarez

Devon Alvarez brings to the team efficiency and accuracy when completing tasks. With a high level of communication with clients and the ability to be solution oriented in a timely manner, he helps build trust with his clients that every month end is going to be a clean and stress-free Streamlined process. In Devon's spare time, he is usually running or spending time with his 9 month old daughter.

  • Michele Mayo

Michele Mayo has over nine years of experience as a QuickBooks bookkeeper helping companies get and keep their books in order. She does clean ups in QuickBooks for any of our clients who need that service and helps maintain them after that point. Michele enjoys studying the Bible, spending time with her local church family, reading old books, and growing food in her garden.

Jenny Ahsan spent several years working in the fast-paced world of healthcare. However Jenny's fascination with numbers and a knack for keeping things organized led her to explore her path into bookkeeping. She realized that the same attention to detail that's crucial in healthcare can be just as valuable in the world of balancing the books. Jenny enjoys spending time with her daughter and loves to travel whenever the opportunity presents.

  • Jessica Timmerman

Jessica Timmerman has been working in accounting since 2010 and has been working with Streamline since 2020. She thinks numbers are fun! Jessica takes all of her clients to heart and loves to be detail oriented, communicative, and reliable to all those around her. Jessica has 4 children and 1 grandson and loves to travel, golf, camp, and hunt.

  • Stephanie Kidwell

Stephanie Kidwell brings to the team accuracing and excellent customer service. She is enthusiastic, self motivated and reliable. Her drive for accuracy and fondness of deadlines makes Stephanie a valued member of our team. In her free time Stephanie loves being with her family, watching them play sports and going on road trips!
