Nathan Nienhuis

Founder, Owner, CEO

After graduating with a Business Administration Degree from Azusa Pacific University, Nate began his career as an Accountant in the vacation rental industry. In 2019, Nate saw a need in the market and decided to start his own business that would help clients, like yours, with all of their accounting needs. On the weekends, you can find Nate spending time with his family and competing in triathlons.

Jessica Sewell

Head of Operations and Onboarding

Jess has been part of Thuro Accounting for nearly two years, showing remarkable dedication to the team. She has worked her way up to become the Lead of Operations and Onboarding. Over the past 12 months, Jess has played a key role in supporting Thuro's leadership as the company has grown and scaled. Outside of work, Jess is a football fan who enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time outdoors with her two children.

Onboarding Specialist

Jenny joined Thuro Accounting nearly two years ago after spending several years in the fast-paced healthcare industry. Her love for numbers and natural organizational skills led her to transition into bookkeeping. Jenny quickly realized that the attention to detail vital in healthcare is equally important when managing finances. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her daughter.

  • Suzanne Schepers

Suzanne Scheppers has been part of Thuro Accounting for over five years, even before the company officially became Thuro! She has extensive knowledge of Streamline, excels in attention to detail, and is always efficient in her work. Suzanne constantly strives to grow and stay updated with industry trends. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, is an avid runner, and dreams of retiring on a dairy farm, raising heifers with her six wonderful children.

  • Jessica T

Jessi has been working in accounting since 2010 and has been working with Streamline since 2020. She thinks numbers are fun! Jessica takes all of her clients to heart and loves to be detail oriented, communicative, and reliable to all those around her. Jessica has 4 children and 1 grandson and loves to travel, golf, camp, and hunt.

Vini joined Thuro 3 years and specializes in our Streamline and Guesty clients. Vini's favourite part of his job is problem solving and the relationships he builds with clients. When Vini is not working he's golfing or spending time with his wife and two sons.

  • Sami F
For nearly a year Sami has been with Thuro and boasts a wealth of experience in the industry. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and has worked at CPA Firms and has 5+ years in the short term vacation rental accounting space. Sami specializes in Track, Ignite/Live Rez, LMPM and special Quickbooks projects. When she is not working or studying for her CPA Exam Sami enjoys concerts, and trying new restaurants in her area!
